Achievements

Castle Crashers has a tight list of achievements. Some require grinding, while others require specific multiplayer actions.

Story and Progression​

These achievements unlock naturally as you play the game.

  • Traditional: Complete the game using any character.
  • The Traitor: Defeat the boss you face at the end of the game.
  • Deer Trainer: Navigate the abandoned mill without hitting any obstacles. This takes some practice. Memorize the jump timings.

Combat and Grinding​

You earn these through standard combat and leveling.

  • Melee Is Best: Defeat any boss without using any magic. Pick an early boss like the Barbarian Boss and just hit him with your sword.
  • Maximum Firepower: Using a catapult, fling a knight with maximum power. Wait for the meter to fill completely before launching.
  • Treasure Hunter: Find and dig up ten buried items. Get the shovel and look for "X" marks on the ground.
  • Conscientious Objector: Complete the Home Castle through Barbarian Boss areas without attacking any enemies. Play in multiplayer and let your friends do all the fighting. CRITICAL WARNING: Unequip all offensive Animal Orbs before attempting this run, as autonomous pet attacks (like Rammy or Hawkster) void the criteria instantly.

Multiplayer​

You need other players for these. You can do them locally or online.

  • Medic!: Resuscitate a fallen comrade in a four-player game. Stand over a dead teammate and press the button rapidly to revive them. This strictly requires four distinct player entities (local or online). You must perform CPR on all three of the other characters within a single match instance.
  • Arena Master: Win 40 ranked Arena matches.
  • Glork / The Final Countdown: In the original game, "Glork" required winning 20 ranked All You Can Quaff matches. In Castle Crashers Remastered, this is replaced by The Final Countdown (Survive until 2:30 in a Back Off Barbarian match). The Final Countdown has a very low completion rate due to exponential enemy speed. Memorizing D-Pad layout patterns is an absolute necessity.
  • Kay Eye Ess Ess: Collect all 4 Princesses' kisses in a multiplayer game. This mandates winning the PvP duel against other players at the conclusion of the Barbarian Boss, Cyclops' Fortress, Ice Castle, and Final Battle.

Completionist​

These require you to collect everything or master the game.

  • Animal Handler: Collect all the Animal Orbs. Check the Animal Ark to see which ones you are missing.
  • You Are Insane: Complete the game on Insane Mode. You need a high-level character, a solid weapon, and preferably a full team of skilled players to survive this mode.
