Items and Upgrades
You cannot win on luck alone. The game litters the casino floors with sketchy items. These let you cheat the house, manipulate the odds, and bail your team out of a bad run.
Finding Items and The Limo Pickup Mechanic
Items are acquired from the vendor truck outside the casino or via the Mystery Box.
[!WARNING] Executing a transaction at the truck register only reserves the items. To actually acquire them, your group must enter the limo, locate the shady vendor in the lobby elevator, and physically collect the items using the prompt. If you fail to do this, you lose both the items and the tickets spent.
Cross-Run Persistence
It is vital to understand what survives a game-over wipe and what does not.
- Permanent Assets: Tickets (the meta-currency) and Cosmetics (attire and emotes) are permanently bound to your account profile. They persist across runs and crashes.
- Ephemeral Assets: Sketchy Items acquired from the vendor truck are strictly bound to the immediate session. If your team wipes, all acquired items and active multiplier buffs are instantly vaporized.
Mystery Box Loot Tables and Probability
The Mystery Box (4 tickets) offers a randomized draw from the entire shop pool. The internal loot table heavily biases utility over rarity:
- The Economy Savior (11.8% Drop Rate): The Quota Gun possesses the highest drop rate. It provides a statistical safety net, allowing struggling teams to shoot off virtual body parts for an instant injection of cash equivalent to 33% of the daily quota.
- Standard Utilities (7.9% Drop Rate): The vast majority of tactical items, including the Camera, Holy Statue, Devil's Reel, Drink, Golden Chip, Microphone, Taser, Time Machine, and Angel's Reel, each hold a 7.9% probability.
- Rare Synergistic Upgrades (3.9% Drop Rate): High-tier permanent session upgrades like Gambler's Confidence, Insurance, Bonus Draw, and Stake Holder. Their low drop rate means you are better off buying them directly (6 to 8 tickets).
- Ultra-Rare Novelty Entities (0.8% Drop Rate): The physics-based companions Ratto and Maxwell. Note: These are strictly cosmetic sandbox objects. They possess zero mechanical influence over game algorithms and cannot alter the odds of any table.
Best Sketchy Items
- Loaded Dice: Guarantees a high roll in any dice game. Save this for when you need a massive payout.
- Marked Deck: Lets you see the next card in blackjack or poker. Use this to know exactly when to double down.
- Time Machine (6 tickets): Forcefully rolls back the game state by up to 60 seconds. Use this to retroactively erase a catastrophic financial loss. It does not pause or add time to the 5-minute timer.
- Holy Statue (7 tickets): When held and actively channeled by a player, it projects an aura that prevents all nearby teammates from losing their wagers for a brief duration.
Best Item Synergies
The Taser + Golden Chip Paradigm
This specific combination breaks the casino's risk-reward curve. Deploy the Taser directly onto a table's keypad to artificially inflate the maximum allowable wager limit. Immediately afterward, consume the Golden Chip to generate a free "All-In" bet that matches this newly inflated limit. This generates astronomical payouts while exposing the shared bank to absolutely zero financial risk.
Using Items Strategically
Communicate before using a powerful item. If one player uses the Time Machine to roll back a loss, make sure the rest of the team knows they are about to jump back 60 seconds.
Do not hoard items. Use everything you have to secure the quota.
