Two things to know if you read older warnings about it. It never permanently locked an achievement: at least one player who hit it simply re-collected 20 Depresso effigies and it unlocked. And it was never called the "Effigy Tracker Glitch", which is not a term any source uses. :::

The same patch fixed a second achievement bug. Predator Hunter could fail to unlock even after you met its requirements, and v1.0.2 corrected that on July 29, 2026.

How the Effigy Achievements Work​

v1.0 reworked Lifmunk Effigies into Pal Effigies, so you now collect effigies of many different species. That produced 11 per-species achievements in two tiers, and the tier names are consistent:

  • Guru always means 20 effigies of one species. Eight of these exist, covering Lamball (Forest Guru), Pengullet (Volcano Guru), Munchill (Desert Guru), Rooby (Snowy Mountain Guru), Herbil (Sakurajima Guru), Tanzee (Feybreak Guru), Depresso (Sunreach Guru) and Cattiva (World Tree Guru).
  • Traveler always means 4 effigies. Three exist: Relaxaurus (Island Traveler), Lunaris (Forest Traveler) and Yakumo (World Traveler).

Lifmunk keeps its own separate pair: Palpagos Guru at 50 and Palpagos Guardian at 100.
