100% Achievement Guide
Patapon 1+2 Replay has 38 Steam achievements. 17 belong to Patapon 1, 20 belong to Patapon 2, and one meta-achievement (The Great Almighty) requires unlocking all the others.
Most achievements are tied to defeating specific bosses or reaching crafting milestones. None of them are missable since you can replay any mission at any time.

Patapon 1 Achievements
Boss Defeats
These unlock the first time you defeat each boss. You will get most of them through normal progression.
| Achievement | Boss | When You Encounter It |
|---|---|---|
| Patapons Come Home | Tutorial clear | Mission 1. Complete the introductory mission. |
| Fleeting Guardian | Dodonga | Early game. A fire-breathing dinosaur. Use Defend when it inhales. |
| Dauntless Dragon | Majidonga | Mid game. An upgraded Dodonga with faster attacks. Same tactics, tighter timing. |
| Desert Behemoth | Zaknel | Mid game. A giant desert worm. Archers (Yumipon) are your best bet since melee units struggle to reach it. |
| Guardian of Knell | Dokaknel | Mid-late game. Upgraded Zaknel. Hits harder, moves faster, burrows underground. |
| Mythical Stone Goliath | Gaeen | Mid game. A towering stone giant. Attack its legs, Defend when it raises its foot to stomp. |
| Guardian of Ancestral Heritage | Dogaeen | Late game. Upgraded Gaeen. More HP, devastating slam attacks, requires high DPS to kill before it overwhelms you. |
| Volcano Guardian | Ciokina | Mid-late game. A fire crab. Fire resistance (Gekolos Rarepons) makes this fight much easier. |
| Claws of Guchoppa | Cioking | Late game. Upgraded Ciokina. Wider fire AoE and faster pincer attacks. |
| Kharma's Pet | Shookle | Late game. A massive slug-like creature. Poison attacks reduce your army's effectiveness over time. |
| The Dark Palace Guardian | Shooshookle | Late game. Upgraded Shookle. Stronger poison and a grab attack that kills individual units. |
| Servant of Darkness | Gorl | Final boss. The Zigoton general. Multiple phases with varied attack patterns. Come with a full army and Fever Mode ready. |
Crafting and Collection
| Achievement | How to Unlock | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| Slow But Strong | Create a Mogyuun (Ultra Rarepon) | Requires Level 5 material combination at the Tree of Life. Total material value must equal 5. Farm bosses for high-tier materials. |
| The Rarest Rarepon | Create a Baasara (Ultra Rarepon) | Requires Level 6 material combination (max tier). Both materials must be Level 3 or higher. Baasara is the strongest Rarepon in Patapon 1. |
| Collect Them All! | Deploy each unit class at least once | Create at least one Yaripon, Tatepon, Yumipon, Dekapon, Megapon, and Kibapon. Deploy each in a mission. |
| Divine Collection | Acquire nine Divine-rarity items | Divine items drop from bosses on higher difficulty replays. Focus on late-game bosses (Dogaeen, Cioking, Shooshookle) for the best drop rates. Save-scum tip: save before each boss attempt. If the rare drop does not appear, reload and retry. Boss levels scale infinitely, and farming becomes harder as levels climb, so keep boss levels manageable. |
| Fever Pitch | Stay in Fever Mode for one continuous minute | Pick an easy hunting mission and just keep the beat going. Do not attack anything that would end the mission early. |
Patapon 2 Achievements
Boss Defeats
| Achievement | Boss | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| In the Name of Mater | Dodonga (P2) | Early game. Same creature as P1, slightly different attack timing. |
| Beware of the Beak | Mochichichi | A giant bird boss. Toripon units are immune to its wind attacks. Use them if you have them. |
| Wash the Spider Down | Centura | A spider boss that pins units in webs. Keep attacking to free trapped Patapons. |
| Big Game Hunting | Manboth | A mammoth-like boss. Massive HP pool. Bring your highest-DPS composition. |
| Servant of the Underworld | Garl | Mid-late game. A skeletal version of Gorl. Multiple attack phases and summons minion waves. |
| Feathers of Flames | Fennichi | A phoenix-type boss. Fire attacks across the screen. Fire resistance Rarepons and Defend timing are critical. |
| Through Earth Like Water | Zaknel (P2) | Mid game. Returns from P1 with new burrow patterns that are harder to dodge. |
| A Taste For Patapon | Shookle (P2) | Returns from P1. Now has a tongue grab that pulls individual units in. Retreat when you see the tongue wind-up. |
| Malicious Machinery | Kanogias | Late game. A mechanical boss with ranged cannon attacks. Close the distance quickly with March commands and hit it before it fires. |
| Break the Curse | Dettankarmen | Final boss. A massive dark entity. Multi-phase fight. Hero Mode is almost mandatory for the final phase. |

Recommended Achievement Order
You do not need to chase these in any specific order, but this sequence lines up with natural progression and avoids backtracking:
Patapon 1
- Patapons Come Home and Fleeting Guardian come from just playing the first few missions.
- Fever Pitch is easy to knock out on any early hunting mission. Do it while farming materials.
- Collect Them All! unlocks as you create one of each unit class. Build them as they become available.
- Boss achievements come naturally as you progress the story.
- Slow But Strong and The Rarest Rarepon require farming high-tier materials. Do this after clearing the story when you can replay all bosses.
- Divine Collection requires replaying bosses for rare drops. Combine this with Rarepon material farming.
Patapon 2
- Full Kit triggers automatically mid-game.
- In the Name of Mater through Break the Curse come from story progression.
- The Future is Bright pops when you beat the final boss.
- Work on Evolution Map achievements (Fear the Spear, Tatepons FTW!, Danger From a Distance) during the post-game grind.
- Ultimate Rarepon achievements are endgame goals. They require significant material investment and time in the Evolution Map.
- Divinely Dangerous and Demonically Dangerous come from repeated boss farming and Patagate runs.
The three Evolution Map achievements (Yaripon, Tatepon, Yumipon) are the biggest time investments. Focus on one branch at a time rather than spreading your materials across all three. Completing one branch often provides Memory scrolls that unlock shortcuts in the others.
