Patapon 1+2 Replay has 38 Steam achievements. 17 belong to Patapon 1, 20 belong to Patapon 2, and one meta-achievement (The Great Almighty) requires unlocking all the others.
Most achievements are tied to defeating specific bosses or reaching crafting milestones. None of them are missable since you can replay any mission at any time.
Three of the 38 are hidden on Steam: the Ultimate Rarepon achievements for Babassa, Mogyugyu and Wagyanba ship with blank descriptions, so they will not tell you what they want until you unlock them.
Meta Achievementโ

| The Great Almighty | Unlock all 37 other achievements. |
Patapon 1 Achievementsโ
Story Progressโ
| Achievement | How to Unlock |
|---|---|
| Patapons Come Home | Learn the basics by completing the first mission. This is the tutorial, not a boss. |
Boss Defeatsโ
These unlock the first time you defeat each boss. Patapon 1 has 11 bosses, and each has an achievement. You will get most of them through normal progression.
| Achievement | Boss | When You Encounter It |
|---|---|---|
| Fleeting Guardian | Dodonga | Early game. A fire-breathing dinosaur. Use Defend when it inhales. |
| Dauntless Dragon | Majidonga | Mid game. An upgraded Dodonga with faster attacks. Same tactics, tighter timing. |
| Desert Behemoth | Zaknel | Mid game. A giant plant-covered worm. Archers are your best bet since melee units struggle to reach it. |
| Guardian of Knell | Dokaknel | Mid-late game. Stronger Zaknel. Its Scorching Breath is the attack to respect. |
| Mythical Stone Goliath | Gaeen | Mid game. A wooden goliath. Watch for the Laser Eye, which out-ranges Retreat, so Defend instead. |
| Guardian of Ancestral Heritage | Dogaeen | Late game. Stronger Gaeen, and one of the best Level 4 material sources in the game. |
| Volcano Guardian | Ciokina | Mid-late game. A crab whose element is Sleep, not fire. Bring sleep resistance, not fire resistance. |
| Claws of Guchoppa | Cioking | Late game. Stronger Ciokina, and very easy to stagger. Beating it gives you the Earthquake Miracle. |
| Kharma's Pet | Shookle | Late game. A giant carnivorous plant, not a slug. Sleep-based, and the game's vegetable source. |
| The Dark Palace Guardian | Shooshookle | Late game. Stronger Shookle, with a Stagger Retaliation move that punishes stagger farming. Gives you the Storm Miracle. |
| Servant of Darkness | Gorl | Final boss. A demon from the Underworld, not a Zigoton. Two interchangeable forms with two attacks each. Weak to fire. |
Crafting and Collectionโ
| Achievement | How to Unlock | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| Slow But Strong | Create a Mogyuun Ultra Rarepon | Combine materials totaling 7, so a Level 3 plus a Level 4. Farm late bosses for the Level 4 half. |
| The Rarest Rarepon | Create a Baasara Ultra Rarepon | Combine materials totaling 8, which means two Level 4 materials, such as Super Cedar plus Mytheerial. Baasara is the strongest Rarepon in Patapon 1, named Barsala before the remaster. |
| Collect Them All! | Use each type of unit at least once | Create and deploy at least one Yaripon, Tatepon, Yumipon, Kibapon, Dekapon and Megapon. This is about base classes, not Rarepon types. |
| Divine Collection | Acquire nine Divine items | Not from bosses. Divine equipment comes from the Fwoosh Famooze anvil minigame run with Mytheerial, where a perfect run awards a Divine item once per equipment type for the first nine. Farm Mytheerial from Dogaeen, Cioking, Shookle or Gorl and spend it at the anvil. Note also that boss levels cap at 100, not infinity. |
| Fever Pitch | Stay in Fever Mode for one continuous minute | Pick an easy hunting mission and just keep the beat going. Do not attack anything that would end the mission early. |
Patapon 2 Achievementsโ
Boss Defeatsโ
| Achievement | Boss | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| In the Name of Mater | Dodonga (P2) | Early game. Same creature as P1, with a roar added at Level 10. |
| Beware of the Beak | Mochichichi | A giant bird whose element is Sleep. Its Sleeping Gas fires after you stagger it. |
| Wash the Spider Down | Centura | Invisible and invulnerable until you use the Rain Miracle. Bring Rain equipped or you cannot win. |
| Big Game Hunting | Manboth | A mammoth. Resists ice, vulnerable to fire. Counter the Stomp with Retreat, not Jump. |
| Servant of the Underworld | Garl | Mid-late game. The upgraded form of Patapon 1's Gorl, with Dragon and Beast forms. No minions and no berserker phase. |
| Feathers of Flames | Fennichi | A phoenix that takes half damage from fire and double from ice. Bring ice, not fire resistance. |
| Through Earth Like Water | Zaknel (P2) | Mid game. Same moveset as P1, gaining Worm Wheel at Level 10. Jump handles its Earthquake. |
| A Taste For Patapon | Shookle (P2) | Returns from P1. Three vines grab up to three Patapons at once for an instant kill. The only source of Seeds. |
| Malicious Machinery | Kanogias | Late game. Break the towers on its head from above to cut its cannon frequency. It has no shields. |
| Break the Curse | Dettankarmen | Final boss. Beast and Cyclops forms. A Toripon Hero is immune to both of its signature attacks. |
Evolution and Craftingโ
| Achievement | How to Unlock | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| The Future is Bright | Beat the Patapon 2 campaign | Clear all story missions through Dettankarmen. |
| Divinely Dangerous | Acquire a Divine Weapon | The reliable route is the Ton Kampon anvil, where a flawless Level 2 or Level 3 run awards Divine equipment. |
| Demonically Dangerous | Acquire a Demon Weapon | Same source. Flawless anvil runs award Demon equipment as well as Divine. |
| Full Kit | Acquire all 4 drums | Story progression. The order is Pon, Pata, Chaka, then Don, which Gong hands you in Patapon 2. |
| Fear the Spear | Unlock every Memory in the Yaripon Evolution Map | That means both of Yaripon's Memories: Kibapon's at Pyopyo and Toripon's at Sabara. |
| Tatepons FTW! | Unlock every Memory in the Tatepon Evolution Map | Dekapon's at Wanda and Robopon's at Kanokko. |
| Danger From a Distance | Unlock every Memory in the Yumipon Evolution Map | Megapon's at Menyokki and Mahopon's at Koppen. |

| Ultimate Rarepon: Mogyugyu | Take a Mogyu to level 10 | Hidden on Steam. +0/+400 damage and +350 HP, at the cost of the slowest attack speed in the game. |
| Ultimate Rarepon: Wagyanba | Take a Gyaba to level 10 | Hidden on Steam. Halves all non-elemental damage and is immune to Ignite. |
Recommended Achievement Orderโ
You do not need to chase these in any specific order, but this sequence lines up with natural progression and avoids backtracking:
Patapon 1โ
- Patapons Come Home and Fleeting Guardian come from just playing the first few missions.
- Fever Pitch is easy to knock out on any early hunting mission. Do it while farming materials.
- Collect Them All! unlocks as you create one of each unit class. Build them as they become available.
- Boss achievements come naturally as you progress the story.
- Slow But Strong and The Rarest Rarepon require Level 4 materials. Do this after clearing the story when you can replay Dogaeen, Cioking and Gorl.
- Divine Collection is an anvil grind, not a boss grind. Farm Mytheerial, then run Fwoosh Famooze perfectly nine times.
Patapon 2โ
- Full Kit triggers automatically mid-game.
- In the Name of Mater through Break the Curse come from story progression.
- The Future is Bright pops when you beat the final boss.
- Work on Evolution Map achievements (Fear the Spear, Tatepons FTW!, Danger From a Distance) during the post-game grind.
- Ultimate Rarepon achievements are endgame goals. They require significant material investment and time in the Evolution Map.
- Divinely Dangerous and Demonically Dangerous come from flawless Ton Kampon anvil runs and never from boss luck.
The three Evolution Map achievements (Yaripon, Tatepon, Yumipon) are the biggest time investments, since each needs two Memories unlocked. Focus on one map at a time instead of spreading materials across all three. Remember that only one unit has to reach a node for the Memory to unlock army-wide.
Difficulty Ratingsโ

|---|---|
| Easy (comes naturally) | Patapons Come Home, Fleeting Guardian, Fever Pitch, Full Kit, In the Name of Mater, The Future is Bright |
| Moderate (some farming) | All other boss defeats, Collect Them All!, Divinely Dangerous |
| Hard (dedicated grinding) | Slow But Strong, The Rarest Rarepon, Divine Collection, Evolution Map completions, Ultimate Rarepons |
| Very Hard (endgame) | Demonically Dangerous, The Great Almighty |
Frequently Asked Questionsโ
How many achievements are in Patapon 1+2 Replay?
There are 38 Steam achievements. 17 belong to Patapon 1 and 20 belong to Patapon 2, with The Great Almighty unlocking once you have all 37 others.
Are any Patapon achievements missable?
No. None of them are missable, because you can replay any mission at any time. Most are tied to defeating specific bosses or reaching crafting milestones.
Which achievements take the longest to get?
The three Evolution Map achievements, Fear the Spear, Tatepons FTW and Danger From a Distance, since each requires unlocking both Memories on that class's map. Focus on one map at a time, and remember only one unit needs to reach a node for the Memory to unlock army-wide.
How do I unlock Divine Collection?
At the anvil, not from bosses. Run the Fwoosh Famooze minigame with Mytheerial, and a perfect run awards a Divine item once per equipment type for the first nine. No Patapon 1 boss drops Divine equipment, so farm Mytheerial from Dogaeen, Cioking, Shookle or Gorl and spend it at the anvil.

Stay in Fever Mode for one continuous minute. Pick an easy hunting mission, keep the beat going, and do not attack anything that would end the mission early.
