Achievements and the Goals Panel
Rise to Ruins runs 117 goals through its Goals Panel, and 113 of them unlock Steam achievements. None are hidden. The list does not reward endurance the way you might expect: the rarest entries are deliberate silly acts almost nobody performs, headed by Was I a Good Boy at 0.30 percent for resurrecting four Doggos, and by Bad Aim at 0.40 percent for hitting your own villager with a meteor. Surviving eight days sits at a comfortable 6.90 percent.
Rise to Ruins runs its achievements through a goals system, and the developer's Update 2 notes put the count at 117 goals, each unlocking a corresponding Steam achievement, all laid out on what he describes as a huge web map where clearing goals makes more of them available. The in-game screen is the Goals Panel.
That leaves a small gap worth knowing about: 117 goals against 113 Steam achievements. The likeliest explanation is that a few goal nodes unlock free chest slots and not achievements, though the developer never spelled it out.
None of the 113 are hidden. Every one has a public name, description, and unlock percentage, so nothing on this page is a spoiler you could have avoided.

What the Rarity Actually Tells Youโ
The obvious reading of this list is that it rewards endurance. It does not. Sort the roster by unlock rate and the bottom is almost entirely deliberate silly acts that nobody thinks to perform, not skill walls.
The five rarest are Was I a Good Boy? at 0.30% (resurrect 4 Doggos), Bad Aim at 0.40% (hit your own villager with a meteor), Catjeetastrophic at 0.40%, Fine I'll Do It Myself at 0.50%, and Midgar at 0.50% (drop a comet on your own camp). Meanwhile the endurance entry, Survive! for 8 days in a region, sits at 6.90%, which is mid-table.
If you are chasing completion, that is good news. Most of what is missing from your list is something you can go and do on purpose this afternoon.
Tips for the Awkward Onesโ
Hospice Careโ
Old-age deaths are rare because of Lifetime Constitution, a hidden stat that starts at maximum and drops permanently whenever a villager suffers: thirst, hunger, unhappiness, injury, poison, and much else. A low constitution cuts their life expectancy, and a villager who lived hard can die well before reaching elder age at 35, or 30 for catjeet. Twenty-four peaceful deaths therefore means twenty-four villagers who had genuinely comfortable lives, which is a logistics achievement and not a defensive one.
What Is My Purpose?โ
This does not mark some late-game crisis. Trash starts accumulating from your very first harvest, since anything created, destroyed, or manufactured has a small chance of leaving some behind, and the entry-level trash achievement is one of the most common in the game at 6.70%. Building 8 Cube-E golems is simply an opt-in choice that requires committing to a Cube-E Golem Combobulator and an iron supply.
War Crimesโ
The achievement asks you to "Carelessly toss a Doofy Doggo into a Cullis Gate", and an ordinary Doggo genuinely will not work. That is by design and not a bug, and it is stated in the requirement itself. A Doofy Doggo is a real, distinct rare variant: white fur, blue eyes, and always named Moon Moon, even in the wild. Wild ones did not originally count toward the goal, which was fixed in Update 2d.
Frequently Asked Questionsโ
What is the rarest achievement in Rise to Ruins?
A Worthy Sacrifice sits at the bottom of the list with a 1.3 percent global unlock rate. It asks you to throw a Nephalim into a Cullis Gate.
How do you unlock Hospice Care?
You need 24 villagers to die specifically of old age. Villagers normally die violently from dehydration, starvation, or monster sieges, so you have to keep a population secure and supplied for a full biological lifespan.
Why is the War Crimes achievement not unlocking?
Dropping a standard Doggo into a Cullis Gate does not trigger the flag. The game wants a rare breed and sprite variant of the Doofy Doggo, so watch for that variant before you make the sacrifice.
How do you get What Is My Purpose in Rise to Ruins?
Create 8 Cube-E golems. Those constructs automate trash compression, so the achievement mostly proves you reached the late-game Trash Management crisis phase.
How many corruption tiles do you need for Take It Back?
You have to convert 256 tiles of corruption back to pure land. It has a 1.4 percent global unlock rate.
