Golem Typology and Specialization
Golems serve as autonomous, expendable extensions of your village workforce and military. They are strictly classified into two categories based on their generation method: combobulator-spawned and spell-spawned.
Combobulator Golems
Combobulator Golems are constructed via specific civic structures (Stone, Wood, and Crystal combobulators) and are fueled by pure energy stored in Essence Collectors.
- Stone Golems: These boast massive hit points and devastating melee damage. They serve as the ultimate frontline tanks, but suffer from abysmal movement speed.
- Crystal Golems: These are extremely fast units that use ranged magical attacks. This makes them ideal for firing over Curtain Walls from the safety of the interior. However, they shatter rapidly under direct fire due to incredibly low health pools.
- Wood Golems: These serve as a perfectly balanced, medium-speed melee unit for general patrol duties.
Spell-Spawned Golems
Spell Golems are summoned directly by you using divine influence rather than physical infrastructure. Summoning these magical golems permanently reduces your maximum influence cap for as long as the construct remains alive. You must carefully balance your active spellcasting potential against your need for automated labor.
- Labor Golems: These possess negligible combat statistics but autonomously haul resources across the map. They save human villagers immense travel time and prevent logistical bottlenecks.
- Holy Golems: These aggressively hunt enemies within their patrol radius.
Specialized Late-Game Constructs
In the late game, you unlock highly specialized utility constructs designed to manage specific crises.
- Courier Golems: These facilitate complex regional trading networks across the world map, allowing you to move resources between settlements.
- Cube-E Golems: These are engineered specifically to compress and manage the overwhelming accumulation of village trash that plagues late-game outposts. They are mandatory for preventing total logistical failure.
