Gadgets and Secrets
Gadgets are permanent gameplay modifiers. Once you unlock them, you can turn them on or off at the Gadget Rack in your basecamp.
The Shovel
Many early gadgets are hidden in dig spots. Look for shiny patches on the ground in early levels. Once you find the Shovel, you can interact with these spots to dig up rewards.

Here is how to find the most important gadgets.

| Pogo Stick | Hold Crouch to load, jump to perform a mega jump. | Quarry: Interact with "Lil Bot" (a baby robot) in the corrupted/purple challenge area. |
| Roller | Increases movement speed while riding rails. | Canyons: Give 5 Data-Logs to the Old Bot in the safe area. |
| Hero Cape | Press Crouch in the air to stomp and deal damage. | Aqua Station: Melt the ice block in the first safe area using a fire weapon to rescue Alfred Beauregard. |
| Business Briefcase | Gain 1 Powercell when leveling up. | Ruins: Give a Powercell to Wallstreet Slim at the spawn area across 3 to 4 different runs. |
| Battery Burger | Restores 0.5% health for every Powercell spent. | Oasis: Give the Swimming Trunks to Johnny Waterfall behind the waterfall. |
| Cooking Gloves | Reduces weapon upgrade and reroll costs. | Fields: Give a Blunderbuzz, Junk Rifle, and Sheriff's Carbine to Snapshot Sam. |

The Museum
If you are missing gadgets, check the Museum in your basecamp. Look at the World tab. It tells you which map zone holds the secret you have not collected yet.
