Map Routing and Corrupted Zones
Roboquest is not a strictly linear game. Your route determines the challenges you face and the secrets you can uncover.
Canyons Structure
Every run begins in the Canyons. This starting area teaches you the structure of a biome. It is broken down into specific subareas:
- Entry Area: The initial landing zone.
- Primary Combat Zone: The first major fight.
- Corrupted Challenge Area: An optional, harder section offering better rewards.
- Mid-Point Break Area: A safe zone containing Papy Pawn and the branching exit doors.
- Final Combat Phase: The last push before the biome boss.
Branching Paths
At the mid-point break area in the Canyons, you must choose your next destination.
- Oasis: The default, open path. This is the standard route for most early runs.
- Ruins: Requires a specific key to access.
- Quarry: Requires the Tech Room key, which you must find in the Fields.
Navigating the Quarry Door
A common roadblock for new players is reaching the elevated, seemingly inaccessible door in the Quarry biome. You do not need a double-jump item to reach it. You can bypass this verticality check using several mechanical methods:
- Recon: Use the "Blink" teleport ability to reach the ledge.
- Gadgets: Use the Pogo Stick gadget for a charged mega-jump.
- Commando: Execute a precise rocket jump using your explosive abilities.
- Heavy Weapons: Fire a heavy blowback weapon (like the Beluga Cannon or Mortar) straight down at the apex of your jump to gain artificial height.
Harmony Square (Haven City Alternate)
Harmony Square is a critical location added in the Super Update (v1.3). It serves as an alternate path through the Haven City biome.
Reaching Harmony Square is required to unlock the Superbot class. To access it, you must clear the initial stages quickly enough to reach the Haven City speed-gate in under 22 minutes.
