Tactical Quick Answer

Super Fantasy Kingdom has 52 Steam achievements, and since Patch 15 every one you unlock grants a small permanent passive stat buff that applies to both the Human and Undead kingdoms. That turns achievement hunting into real progression once you start pushing high Curse levels. None are hidden on Steam, but six are worded as riddles, and the two rarest overall are Overlord and King for beating the game with each kingdom.

Super Fantasy Kingdom has 52 Steam achievements. Since Patch 15, these are not just bragging rights. Every achievement you unlock grants a small, permanent passive stat buff that applies to both the Human and Undead kingdoms. If you are pushing high Curse levels, achievement hunting is mandatory progression. You can see everything you have accumulated in the ALT menu.

info

Prior to Patch 15, achievements unlocked specific units. That system was replaced by the Trapper NPC, who lays traps you catch units in. The first trap each run is free. Achievements now grant meta-progression stat buffs instead.

Every achievement name is also a unit name, and that is why they used to unlock their namesake unit. In game these are map quests: you meet a unit out in the world, it hands you its quest, and the game gives you a hint before you ever need a guide.

The Six Riddle Questsโ€‹

None of the 52 achievements are hidden on Steam. Every one shows its description. Six are simply worded as riddles instead of instructions, and those are the ones people get stuck on. In game each comes with its own hint, so you are never fully in the dark.

Werewolf ("Be kind") - 62.8%โ€‹

Pet Mio three times. Mio is a dog that runs loose around your home town, and three pets clears the quest. He stays indoors during rain and thunderstorms, so pick a clear day. Petting him also makes him run faster for a while.

Gremlin ("Be greedy") - 17.4%โ€‹

Build the Smelter without ever building a Goldmine. The Smelter turns gold into ingots, so raising the refinery while owning no gold source of your own is what the game reads as greed. There is no "finish the day" step, and the building you must avoid is the Goldmine specifically.

Jester ("Be funny") - 9.5%โ€‹

Build four Wells. No dialogue triggers, no special interactions. Wells cost 4 Stone each. The joke is the wiki's own caption for the building.

Djinn ("1% chance") - 32.1%โ€‹

Start the Voyage and be lucky. It rolls a 1% chance every day, so the answer is simply to run the Voyage often. This one has a real solution even though its Steam string reads like a shrug.

Pixie ("Die a peaceful death") - 1.5%โ€‹

Let your kingdom fall during Cherry Blossom weather. During Cherry Blossoms monsters do not get Angry at all that day, not only at night, and your workers move faster off roads.

Cherry Blossoms fires on about 2% of weather rolls, and weather itself fires on roughly 25% of days. Both figures went up in Patch 11, which doubled the Cherry Blossom rate from its old 1%.

The real lever is difficulty: weather events get more likely as your Curse level rises, so push Curse instead of rerolling runs. Note also that the Church shows you tomorrow's weather only, not a multi-day forecast, so you cannot scout ahead and abandon early. Since Pixie is an Undead achievement you want the Undead Church, repaired for 3 Blocks.

Berserk ("Be brave") - 0.8%โ€‹

Beat all four minibosses on the same day. They are not boss nodes. Minibosses guard the four world resource buildings, one each for wheat, gold, wood, and stone, and calling one costs a unit of the resource it sits on. Each tells you its health before you commit, so check all four before you start. They also carry 50% knockback resistance.

The requirement is same-day, not back-to-back, so you can space them out across the day however you like.

warning

Berserk requires serious late-game scaling. Do not attempt it before you have a fully optimized build with pre-loaded relics from the Wizard loop.

Frequently Asked Questionsโ€‹

How many achievements does Super Fantasy Kingdom have?

There are 52 Steam achievements, 27 in the Human kingdom and 25 in the Undead kingdom. Since Patch 15 each unlock grants a small permanent passive stat buff that applies to both kingdoms, and you can review them all in the ALT menu.

Are any Super Fantasy Kingdom achievements hidden?

None of the 52 are hidden on Steam, so every description is visible. Six are worded as riddles and not instructions: Werewolf, Gremlin, Jester, Djinn, Pixie, and Berserk. In game they arrive as map quests from units you meet in the world, and each comes with its own hint.

Do achievements still unlock units?

No. Prior to Patch 15 achievements unlocked specific units, but that system was replaced by the Trapper NPC, who lays traps you catch units in. The first trap each run is free. Achievements now grant permanent stat buffs instead.

How do you get the Werewolf achievement for being kind?

Pet Mio three times. Mio is a dog that runs loose around your home town, and three pets is the whole requirement. He stays inside during rain and thunderstorms, so pick a clear day.

What counts as being greedy for the Gremlin achievement?

Build the Smelter without ever building a Goldmine. The Smelter refines gold into ingots, so putting up the refinery while owning no gold source of your own is what the game reads as greed.

Why is the Pixie achievement so rare?

Your kingdom has to fall during Cherry Blossom weather, which fires on about 2 percent of weather rolls while weather itself occurs on roughly a quarter of days. Raising your Curse level makes weather events more likely, which is a better plan than rerolling runs, since the Church only shows you tomorrow's weather and not a forecast.

What are the two rarest achievements?

Overlord at 0.1 percent and King at 0.2 percent, awarded for beating the game with the Undead and Human kingdoms. Five achievements sit under 2 percent in total, so Pixie at 1.5 percent and Berserk at 0.8 percent are the hardest riddles and not the rarest overall.
