Achievements Guide

Tactical Quick Answer

Swag and Sorcery has 48 Steam achievements, and all 48 are obtainable, so a 100% completion run is entirely possible. Most unlock naturally through progression. The rest come down to zone grinding, the Endless Adventure, and a lot of crafting luck. None of the 48 are hidden, so you can read every requirement from the achievement list before you start.

Swag and Sorcery has 48 Steam achievements, and every one of them is obtainable on the current build. Most unlock naturally through progression, while a handful require dedicated grinding or extreme crafting luck.

None of the 48 are hidden. Steam shows a description for all of them, so nothing here is a surprise trigger you have to know about in advance.

note

A persistent piece of community folklore holds that the game has 50 achievements and that two of them, usually called Bribe and Speech Master, are permanently broken, with the supposed fix being a downgrade through Steam depots or a third-party unlocker. Ignore that advice. The game's achievement list has 48 entries and your Steam overlay counts 48, so 48 of 48 is 100%. Two definition slots were removed from the game's internal numbering at some point, which is probably where the story came from, but no removed achievement appears in your list or blocks your completion percentage.

This guide lists every achievement sorted by category.

Zone Progression and Boss Orderโ€‹

Zones do not unlock one at a time. They arrive in tiers, and only three of the six bosses gate anything.

TierZonesHero levelsHow you reach it
1Magical Forest1 to 5Open from the start
2Battlefield, Dark Ruins3 to 24Kill the Owlman
3Hot Springs, Swamp, Underground City24 to 50Kill both Big Boy and the Skull of Knowledge
4Endless Adventure50 and upComplete the main story

So the Battlefield and Dark Ruins open together, and the three late zones open together. Big Boy, Okiki, Rainbow Snake and the Nameless gate no zone at all. The completion figures show it plainly: more players have farmed 100 monsters in the Dark Ruins (54.9% as of August 23, 2026) than have ever killed Big Boy (53.7%), which could not happen if Big Boy opened the Dark Ruins.

Each zone pairs with a boss for achievement purposes:

ZoneBoss
Magical ForestOwl Guard, called the Owlman in game
BattlefieldBig Boy
Dark RuinsSkull of Knowledge
Hot SpringsOkiki
SwampRainbow Snake
Underground CityThe Nameless

Reaching a bossโ€‹

You cannot simply walk into a boss. Each zone carries a progress bar that fills as you complete runs, the boss becomes available at 100%, and beating it resets the bar.

Zone tierProgress per completed runRuns to a boss
Magical Forest5%20
Battlefield, Dark Ruins4%25
Hot Springs, Swamp, Underground City2%50

That 2% rate is what makes the last three zones the real grind of the game, and it explains why the late boss achievements sit where they do.

The Endless Adventureโ€‹

The Endless Adventure unlocks when you complete the main story, not on any single boss kill. The last story quest is the Okiki fight, so Okiki, and not the Nameless, is the one that opens the final location.

It is an infinitely scaling combat zone. Patch 1.028 added over 70 unique high-tier crafting recipes to its loot tables, and these recipes do not drop anywhere else in the game. The chance of finding them rises as you level the zone.

Hardest Achievementsโ€‹

If you are going for 100% completion, expect to spend the most time on these five.

  • Swag in the blood (10.4%): A full set of legendary gear on one hero. Put your highest Intelligence or Strength hero in the matching building, keep the queue full, and accept that this one is mostly luck. Note that legendary is orange in this game, not purple.
  • Revealed potential (11.2%): All eight heroes to level 25, plus all 24 class quests finished. The quests are the real work, since several ask for specific legendary items.
  • Amateur something (11.3%): The Endless Adventure to level 50.
  • Oligarch (14.5%): Buying every Fashion House recipe is expensive. Win competitions by matching judge preferences and event colors.
  • The secret is revealed (16.5%): 100 elite kills in the Underground City, at 2% zone progress a run.

Frequently Asked Questionsโ€‹

How many achievements does Swag and Sorcery have?

48, and all 48 are obtainable, so 100% completion is possible. None of them are hidden either, so every requirement is readable from the achievement list. The 50-achievement figure players sometimes repeat, with two supposedly broken, counts two definition slots that were removed from the game's internal numbering and never appear in your list.

Are any Swag and Sorcery achievements unobtainable?

No. Your Steam overlay counts 48 and all 48 can be earned on the current build. Ignore advice about downgrading through Steam depots or using third-party unlockers, because there is nothing to work around.

What is the rarest achievement in Swag and Sorcery?

Swag in the blood at 10.4%, which needs one hero fully dressed in legendary items. Revealed potential follows at 11.2%, then Amateur something at 11.3%, Oligarch at 14.5%, and The secret is revealed at 16.5%.

How do zones unlock in Swag and Sorcery?

In tiers, not one at a time. The Magical Forest is open from the start, killing the Owlman opens the Battlefield and Dark Ruins together, and killing both Big Boy and the Skull of Knowledge opens the Hot Springs, Swamp, and Underground City together. The other three bosses gate nothing.

How do you unlock the Endless Adventure?

Complete the main story. The final story quest is the Okiki fight, so Okiki, and not the Nameless, is the kill that opens it. Patch 1.028 added over 70 unique high-tier crafting recipes to its loot tables that drop nowhere else.
