Achievements
Tricky Towers has 29 achievements, none of them hidden. Match winner sits at a 59.5 percent global unlock rate for a single online win, while Ultimate Wizard, which asks you to complete trial 50 without losing a heart, sits at 0.7 percent. The hardest entries are all single-player trial restrictions, not multiplayer feats. Two achievements, Bare bones and Trickster, have documented bugs with known workarounds.
Tricky Towers has 29 achievements and none of them are hidden, so you can read the whole list before you start. The difficulty curve is steeper than the roster looks. Three players in five win an online match, and one in a hundred finishes all fifty trials.
The shape of the list matters before you chase anything. The multiplayer achievements are nearly all easy, and the punishing ones are single-player trial restrictions. Nothing here asks you to be excellent at online play beyond winning a few matches.

| Ultimate Wizard | Complete trial #50 without losing a heart | 0.7% |
Every number here is a minimum, not an exact target. Brick stacker fires the moment you reach 66 bricks, and Green fingers fires when one ivy binds 7 or more. You are never asked to stop on a figure.
Trial Progressionโ
Four achievements arrive as you work through the fifty trials. They unlock on medals earned, not on trials completed, so you can leave some trials unfinished and still advance a tier.
| Achievement | Tier unlocked | Trials | Medals needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Baby steps | Apprentice | 11-20 | 8 |
| Doing good | Pro | 21-30 | 17 |
| On the right track | Expert | 31-40 | 26 |
| Almost there | Master | 41-50 | 36 |
Master wizard, for completing all fifty trials, sits at 1.0 percent.
Easy Multiplayer Unlocksโ
Five achievements come from ordinary online play, and they include the two most common in the game.
- Match winner (59.5%): win one online match.
- Close call (42.4%): win an online survival match with one heart left.
- Mode master (14.6%): win an online game of every mode at every difficulty. That is nine distinct wins, covering Race, Puzzle and Survival across Easy, Normal and Special.
- Cup winner! (12.2%): win an online cup.
- Show off (11.5%): win an online normal survival match without using magic.
Endurance Runsโ
These live in Endless mode, not the trials.
- Brick stacker (4.3%): 66 bricks in Endless Survival. Your realistic first endurance target.
- 99 Bricks! (1.8%): 99 bricks in Endless Survival.
- Perfect start (1.2%): the same 99 bricks in Endless Survival, without losing a heart. The name is misleading. This is a full endurance run, not an opening flourish.
- Shadow stacker (3.5%): 99 bricks in Endless Puzzle, which means conserving bricks and staying under the laser.
- Survivor (3.0%): survive the 8th wave. A wave is a burst of dark magic that lands on every player at once, arriving roughly every 30 seconds, so the 8th wave is around the four minute mark. Do this in Endless Survival. In Survival Special the match usually ends before wave 8 arrives, because somebody reaches the brick target or gets eliminated first.
Trial-Specific Challengesโ
These ask you to complete a named trial under a restriction. Trial piece and spell sequences are fixed, never random, so you can learn a trial and retry it with small adjustments. That is the intended way to beat these, not luck.
- Like a gloveโฆ (1.5%): finish trial #6 with 3 hearts left and without picking up a spell. Build horizontally so your tower never crosses the line that grants one.
- Think fast! (1.3%): finish trial #8 with at least 52 seconds left.
- Save some room (1.4%): finish trial #20 exactly one unit below the laser.
- Bigger than magic (2.9%): finish trial #21 without using any magic.
- No need to rotate (1.1%): complete trial #30 without rotating a brick.
- Bare bones (1.0%): complete trial #40 without using any magic. See the bug note below.
- Ultimate Wizard (0.7%): complete trial #50 without losing a heart. The rarest achievement in the game.
Trial 50โ
Trial 50 is a Survival trial that stacks dark spells on you. Expect a long run of pieces under Fast Brick and Mist together, with the mist persisting to the end, and a final piece carrying Mystery, Rotated Brick and Fast Brick at once. The achievement asks only that you finish without losing a heart. No brick count is attached to it.
The sequence repeats identically every attempt, so the run is learnable.
- Widen before you climb. Petrify bricks at the outer edges of your base to extend it, and hold off going vertical until you have a broad, connected foundation.
- Bridge the gaps. Ivy connects separate columns and gives the base redundancy when a section shifts.
Gameplay Featsโ
- Architect (22.1%): 20 or more bricks in a puzzle match. Single-player puzzle trials hand out fewer than 20 bricks, so use a multiplayer Puzzle match on Special difficulty. Special does not hand out more bricks. It starts you on divided ground with gaps, and nudging bricks into those gaps builds a far wider foundation than the solid platform on Easy or Normal.
- You stay there! (36.3%): stomp 5 bubbled bricks without losing them. When an opponent casts Bubble, one of your placed bricks floats up inside a bubble. Drop your next brick onto it to pop the bubble, and make sure the freed brick lands back on your tower and not in the water. Popping it quickly gives it less distance to drift.
- In the moonlight (11.8%): drop the moon. This is a deliberate magic interaction and has nothing to do with tower height. You need Large cast twice onto the same brick so it grows large enough to knock the moon down, which means a mode where dark magic exists and, in practice, coordination with other players.
- Green fingers (6.7%): bind 7 bricks with one ivy. Farm it on trial #12, where Ivy is the only spell available. Build a dense, interlocked cluster and drop the ivy brick into the middle of it.
- All-round magician (5.4%): use every spell once. That includes Auto Build, Super and Super Duper, which the game deals only to players who are behind, so you cannot finish this one while winning.
- Speed. Precision. (0.8%): win a normal race in 80 seconds or less without dropping a brick.
- Trickster (2.4%): do a 180 with the roof in race mode. See below.
What "a 180 with the roof" actually meansโ
Crossing the finish line in Race mode drops a roof piece that caps your tower, and this achievement wants that roof to land flipped. There is no rotate input for the roof. You have to make it flip itself on the way down, and only one player in forty manages it.
Give yourself a corner to catch it on, either by building one side of the tower outward like a staircase or by petrifying a brick and laying it flat so it juts out. Then use quick nudges to knock the top of the falling roof against that corner and flip it. Trial #8 makes a good practice ground, since Petrify is the only spell there.
The Two Documented Bugsโ
Both of these are real and widely reported, and both have known workarounds. What nobody has established is why they happen, so treat the descriptions below as observed behavior, not confirmed engine internals.
Players report that picking up a spell, never casting it, and then failing trial #40 still unlocks Bare bones. The check appears to run at the end of the round whether or not you won. Picking up a spell first seems to be what arms it, which the usual version of this trick leaves out. Some players report it never firing for them, so treat it as a shortcut worth trying and not a guarantee.
The reported fix, which one source attributes to the developer, is to play a Puzzle or Survival match first and then go to Race mode. If you have landed a clean 180 and seen nothing unlock, try that before assuming you did it wrong.
Frequently Asked Questionsโ
How many achievements does Tricky Towers have?
There are 29, and none of them are hidden, so you can read the whole list before you start. The multiplayer entries are nearly all easy. The punishing ones are single-player trial restrictions.
What is the rarest achievement in Tricky Towers?
Ultimate Wizard at 0.7 percent, which asks you to complete trial 50 without losing a heart. Speed. Precision. is the only other one below 1 percent, at 0.8 percent. Master wizard and Bare bones both sit at exactly 1.0 percent.
Which Tricky Towers achievements are glitched?
Two of them. Bare bones can unlock from a failed run of trial 40 if you picked up a spell and never cast it, though some players report it not firing. Trickster may fail to register if you boot straight into Race mode, and the reported fix is to play a Puzzle or Survival match first.
How do you beat trial 50 for Ultimate Wizard?
Trial 50 stacks Fast Brick and Mist on you for a long run of pieces, then finishes with Mystery, Rotated Brick and Fast Brick at once. The achievement only asks you to finish without losing a heart, with no brick target. Petrify bricks at the outer edges to widen your base before you go vertical, and use Ivy to bridge separate columns. The sequence is identical every attempt, so it is learnable, not luck.
Where is the best place to farm Green fingers?
Trial 12, where Ivy is the only spell available. Build a dense, interlocked section of your tower and drop the ivy brick into the middle of the cluster. You need 7 bricks bound by one ivy, and more than 7 is fine, since the number is a minimum.
How do you drop the moon in Tricky Towers?
Cast Large twice onto the same brick so it grows big enough to knock the moon down. It has nothing to do with how tall your tower is, and it needs a mode where dark magic is available, which in practice means coordinating with other players.
